Blackfire dc3/8/2023 ![]() In-universe, Blackfire was the first Tamaran princess born in over a century, which would have and should have been an amazing deal. She was created by Marv Wolfman and George Pérez, which is already a good sign of quality. Komand’r, is the older sister of our beloved Tamaran princess Starfire, a.k.a. The pair, Starfire and Blackfire, have been fighting for years in the comics, but why is that? Well, let’s take a look.īlackfire, a.k.a. To see the full invasion of Earth by Blackfire's forces, and the inevitable duel between Starfire and her sister, fans can pick up DC Comics' upcoming Titans United #6 when it debuts February 8.In the upcoming season of DC’s Titans on HBO Max, we will see a clash between alien sisters. Starfire has had enough and readers can rest assured knowing that by the end of this issue, Blackfire and Starfire are going to be in a fight that will make history. While Komand'r is not known for playing nice, it seems like this time she has simply gone too far, threatening the world that Koriand'r calls home and injuring her allies, including turning Conner evil and hurting Nightwing, one of the great loves of her life. After Lady Vic asks Koriand'r, " What kind of a space princess are you anyway?" Starfire quickly responds with, " The kind that has had enough." Clearly, Starfire is done with Blackfire messing up her life and harming her loved ones, calling a ceasefire with Vic so that the two can work together to take on the Tamaranean forces. As they begin to once again enter into a brutal fight their battle is interrupted by the arrival of several Tamaranean ships, finally confirming to Koriand'r that her sister, who she had thought she reconciled with, is the one attacking Earth and her closest friends. Lady Vic, an English noblewoman and deadly assassin, almost immediately attacks Koriand'r even though Kori just saved Vic's life. The first scene of Titans United #6 sees Starfire waking in the ruins of Lady Vic's mansion after a Tamaranean weapon Vic - apparently secretly hired by Blackfire - was using exploded. In Titans United #4 Conner was eventually kidnapped by Blackfire, mentally broken, and remade with his powers into the brutal Black Zero, before taking down pretty much every member of the Titans besides Koriand'r in the following issue.
